Great Laptop, December 17, 2011 By This review is from: Toshiba Satellite P755-S5395 15.6" Laptop (Intel Core i7-2670QM Processor, 6 GB RAM, 750 GB Hard Drive, Blu-ray/DVD SuperMulti Drive Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit) (Personal Computers) I have had this for two weeks now and feel I finally have found a keeper. (I am picky with laptops -- have bought and returned two other laptops this year before settling on this one as my fullsize option.)
The overriding pro here is the incredible screen/display -- a combination of the high resolution as well as the perfectly tuned contrast, make this supremely comfortable to stare at for hours. It's even qualitatively better than other high-end laptops the salesman at Best Buy was trying to push down my throat.
I was a little weary because I had read Toshiba's have a heavy fan noise. I haven't noticed yet, so either this is a myth like unicorns or some people have very sensitive hearing.
If you are looking for a good starter laptop, this is a sound buy.

So keep that in mind and just read every detail about the description of a computer system before you buy it. Overall,for the price I paid, it was an excellent deal.
