I love this laptop and I bought it because my last one also (Satellite) lasted a decade. The keyboard speed is very responsive.

Pros: Bright, crisp screen and you'll just love watching movies on your 17.3 inch screen, I know I do. It is also very esthetically pleasing. The price is affordable and is from a trustworthy brand, that has been around for a long time. Keyboard is sufficient, with quiet keys. (I hate keys that click like a type-writer!) Lol.

Cons: Honestly I have none right now. For me it is the Perfect Laptop. Well I did want it to come in Hot Pink, so I guess you can say that's a negative, because they don't offer that color. Other than that, you will be well pleased.
