HA!) in basically the same configuration. Her's was the C655-S5512 model and the only difference was a 320 GB hard drive, instead of the 640. Everything else was the same (processor, RAM, webcam, Win 7, Microsoft Starter.) Sorry Amazon, I bought it at the blue box store, but let's talk about THE COMPUTER.
Great little rig! Initialized and went through Win 7 startup with all the normal options and settings, jumped right in to wireless A-OK, registration, Norton, & Microsoft Starter. Unless you're a major presentation-constructor type, the included MS Starter works great, and has most all of the features for Word and Excel, more than plenty for my M-I-L. :) Battery life a little over 4 hours, (average for a new 6-cell,) and the numeric keypad in a 15.6" format is nice for the "number-crunchers."
