GLASSES FREE 3D! And yes, it is nothing short of amazing. While the sharpness isn't as clear as a big screen 3D tv that requires glasses, the visual effect is just as gratifying. Textures, and especially words, look somewhat blocky due to the nature of the lenticular 3D technique Toshiba uses to free you of the need for glasses. We were very pleased by the way it looked. We do a lot of 3-d, non glasses, photos. In the advertising of this product, it said you could see 3-d stills without glasses. Unfortunately, this was not true.
The computer even had samples on it to show how the photos would look. Their own samples did not work! We called the company and after hours of talking to different employees (who really didn't know anything about this computer) we finally spoke to one of the senior/senior people, who said that this function was not available yet, even though the sample was on the computer. He didn't know when it would be available. I don't know if the movie function works, because that wasn't of interest to us.
We returned the computer.
