So far I am really digging this laptop. I bought this one to replace a very cheap Acer Aspire that I had for 3 years and the battery finally gave out. Initial set up was very fast. I got rid of most of the bloatware. I have seen a lot of people complain about bloatware on just about every computer review on Amazon. It sucks, but get used to it most computers come preloaded with it. It really didn't take that much time to uninstall it all. It starts up very quickly, and the battery life is awesome on the "eco" setting. It's about 5.5 hours or so. I think the balanced setting will get you 3. The display is beautiful and clear. I am able to play a few Steam games like Portal 2 and Civilization 5. You won't be playing anything super intense like Left for Dead, but I'm still happy to be able to play a few recent games. This computer has a "2012" i3-2350M with powerful imbedded graphics and is very fast. Only brand of laptop I will buy because of its reputation for reliability and quality; is the Toyota of laptops. These are the most important reasons for me. My second Toshiba laptop.
Some previous negative reviews seem phony to me because they mention purchases 1-2 years ago when model L755-S5169 with the "2012" i3 2350M was not even available. Others omit the model# or are not Amazon Verified Purchases.
